Bio.

Dr. Nodes is an internationally recognized medievalist specializing in the intersections of classical and biblical literary culture from Late Antiquity to the early modern period. His most recent publications include Mens Platonis, cor Ecclesiae (Florence: Nerbini, 2024), essays on the Renaissance luminary Giles of Viterbo, the second volume of Collationes de tempore (Leiden: Brill, 2025), a critical edition of the sermons of Frater Petrus, a fourteenth-century Franciscan teacher, as well as several articles and book reviews in leading journals. He continues to participate in the programs of the Renaissance Society of America and the International Medieval Institute, as well as to mentor graduate students.
